The IDS Company has been a company life saver for us. For a couple months my bookkeeper and I were trying to get a handle on what was happening with the business-we went from $2 million dollar a year company to $5 million a year company and did everything the same-problem was we seemed to be going backwards. We had talks on what we needed to do to turn it around but each week did nothing and knew some things we needed to do but another week went by with no time to do anything to get a handle on our situation. A gentleman stopped in on Friday about 4:00 and gave me information and hit on a couple issues that this company could help with. He said all I have to do is agree to have someone come in and would only cost about $1,200.00and that I would never regret it. I agreed. Jerry was the first person to come in and talk with us on things IDS could help with. His knowledge and point blank slap in the face facts sold me on that he truly knew our faults and offered firm direction on a few immediate things that needed to happen-immediately. Through his questions and our answers he started hitting the nail on the heat time after time! After a couple days we signed on having Konrad and another come in to go through everything- financial and our business plan. Konrad had the expertise to ask many quality questions to our team each week-gave us the ammunition and taught us many different ways of fact checking how our company was doing financially and what matrix was doing on different fronts. Through the first couple weeks we started doing the things necessary to follow in the footsteps that we were guided to do. We started getting things done because we were sold on the entire directional package that Konrad was offering. During our final few days of Konrad’s direction, I started wondering about when and how any follow-ups would happen. How would we actually perform knowing Konrad would not be there to help being the backbone and how would we perform with the tools and knowledge we were given. Should have known this company has ALL bases covered-Konrad went through all our guides and matrixes and explained how each month we need to report in so if anything started to falter-someone would step in and get us back on track! I am so impressed! I had a meeting with my bookkeeper and told him that we must be doing something right. When we were in dire need someone above was watching out for us and sent us the help and direction we needed! The company was IDS. This company has people that know how to help! Great Company! As our 7 week journey with Jim ends, we are thoroughly impressed with progress made and the amount of support this gentleman gave us. The accomplishments and goals that have taken place with the company as a whole are astounding. Jim has shown us a “new light,” on how structure and chain of command make all the difference in a company. We have known this but for someone to personally sit down with us and map it out, is absolutely amazing. Jim has helped in so many ways with our new program being installed, compete employee handbook, etc. Marty and I are personally saddened upon his departure. As Jim moves on to another family, we can only hope that the rest of our journey with your company with be as smooth, knowledgeable, and delightful as Jim Hamilton has been to our M & D family.

This letter serves as a description and critique, all positive, of services provided by IDS through Konrad. Over the last few weeks Konrad has introduced and implemented the methods brought forth in the plan designed by your firm. Konrad has grasped the operations and type of business we have, which has made applying the plan to our business seamless. Konrad consistently displayed a professional approach to teaching and implementing the different process that were needed to develop our business and bring it into the 21st century. He worked very well with our staff and myself as an owner. Some of the items which have brought value form IDS’s services would consist of having a yearly budget for fiscal 1026 and 2017 that are updated at the close of each month. As an owner I will be able to better track our expenses and expected profits. Konrad implemented numerous matrices that pertain to job costing to assist in proposing work and building a sales forecast to take back the market we have lost to outside competitors. These matrices have already assisted our firm to win bids during the process. Konrad created job task/duties for each group of employees so our firm can hold each employee accountable for their individual duties, along with a rating sheet to gauge how well or poorly they are performing their duties. Konrad created an incentive plan so our firm can tie employee’s bonuses to their work performance, ending our trend of across-the-board bonuses at the end of the year. Other meaningful and implemented services were provided by Konrad, but I do not have enough time do delve into each one. Our firm is very pleased with the value provided by tour firm through Konrad and look forward to seeing a net profit increase from the implementation of your plan.

Mark and I found ourselves at the helm of the company after our other partner left under very questionable circumstances. Our finances were in disarray and reputation was suffering. Our business volume fell by more than 75% and our creditors had cut us off. Together, we found ways to survive but neither of us had any business training. Daryl has helped us get ourselves grounded and focused on the “business of running the business.” We now understand the priorities of running a successful business, we have goals set for the company and ourselves and we know both how to achieve them and track progress towards achieving them. We have been shown ways to get our employees more engaged and empowered and tools given to us will help us each and every day to make sense of our efforts and measure our success towards achieving our goals. We appreciate the effort and support made by your company in helping us revive our business.

Steve came into our company not knowing from day to day if we were going to be able to continue to finance him being here. Needless to say, he took advantage of the time he spent with us and did an outstanding job. We learned so much about our books in the short time that he spent with us and will be able to use it in the future. He taught us things about QuickBooks that we never knew and have been in business for 5 years. Steve also helped us to look at things differently. We are now on the way to being able to take a step back from our business and look at it from the standpoint of true business owners. Steve is very professional with what he does and is very knowledgeable. He has been a joy to work with and made everything easier for us. We are very appreciative of the time that Steve spent with us.

We are extremely satisfied with Ralph performance. All objectives we set out to accomplish were completed proficiently and professionally. We feel we are now poised to run business by the “numbers” and to manage continue growth in our market. We would recommend Ralph and IDS to any company.

I have been working with Rick for over the six weeks and I want you to know how happy and impressed I am with the work Rick had done and also the tools that IDS has been able to provide to GMW. When I decided to hire IDS I knew my business needed help but I was not sure where to look or what needed to change. Over the last six weeks Rick has integrated himself into operations at GMW which I think had been fundamental to achieving buy-in from GMW personnel and also has given Rick the best opportunity to make suggestions. Rick has developed working relationships with multiple key people at GMW which has resulted in an outgoing back and forth that results is better communication among GMW staff and had led to a number of changes in how we operate day to day. I have been given a number of tools that allow me to evaluate GMW’s operations in a way that we have never had before. Cash management, accounting tools and some changes to our reporting are going to make GMW’s operation smoother and more profitable in the future. From a management perspective I now feel more confident that I have a fuller picture of how things are going within each division of the company. I can say that I am fully satisfied with Rick’s efforts and work product with GMW! Rick has been professional, personable, insightful and always helpful. I am amazed at how much insight he has been able to provide during his time here and it is clear that Rick is passionate about helping GMW become more successful. A week before the phone call that brought us to IDS, I told my partner that we need help. Not only that we are paying too much in tax, I also do not believe that we are doing our accounting correctly. It feels like someone was listening to us that afternoon, and gave us Steve the next week. Steve has brought experience, knowledge and wisdom with him. One thing I will miss is our morning conversation; this is the avenue Steve used to transfer knowledge, which I need in running my business. He has the charisma and calmness that made everybody open up to him, a very important factor in getting transparency in place. We love Steve and he will be missed here in the office.

It was my pleasure to work with Bill, and I would highly recommend his services. He was instrumental in developing systems within our business to streamline tasks and improve profitability. Specifically, he helped us analyze our historical data to vastly improve our bidding process, as well as put methods in place to accurately job cost for future jobs. Additionally, he showed us the importance of measuring employee performance and using that feedback to motivate employees. I am grateful to Bill and the IDS team for their expertise. I fully expect $200,000 plus added to our bottom line yearly, as a direct result from these services.
